WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a manual method which does not use a normal permanent makeup machine. Manual microblading is also known as brow micropigmentation, feather brows, and 3D brows.  Microblading is done by using a unique hand instrument with a small row of very fine needles that deposit pigment into the dermis with delicate feathering strokes. This creates natural looking, fine hair-like strokes. This technique is best for people who have a good amount of hairflow throughout their brows, that wants to add more structure and definition, and desires a very natural look.  This method is not recommended for individuals who have very sparse, or patchy brows.

WHAT IS POWDER OMBRÉ?

It's a method done with a permanent makeup machine, similar to a tattoo machine. Powder ombré will give you a look like you've applied makeup to your brows.  The head of the brows start with a soft gradient effect, and the color gradually gets darker towards the tail end.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Everyone is different; it will last anywhere from 6 months-2+ years. Depending on each individuals skin, daily activities, life style, skin products, touch-ups may be necessary anywhere from 6-18 months in order to maintain color and structure

WHAT IF I HAVE PRE-EXISTING PERMANENT MAKEUP ON MY BROWS?

Due to possible underlying scarred tissue caused by traditional brow tattooing, microblading is not ideal for those clients that have them previously tattooed.  There is a high chance that the scarred skin will not retain the pigments causing early pigment loss during the healing process.  If  you fall in this category, or have any existing brow micropigmention work done, please bring it to my attention before making an appointment.

DOES IT HURT?

This is designed to be a gentle procedure with minimal discomfort. The degree of discomfort will depend on several factors, such as if you opt for anesthetics, and your pain threshold.  You may experience a scratching feeling while we are creating the shape and design of the brow. A numbing cream or gel is applied which is absorbed into the skin and, you will experience little to no discomfort..

*Clients who are expecting to be or on their menstrual cycle may experience a little more discomfort and swelling*  I advise scheduling your appointment after you are done.
